13U AAA Head Coach Opportunity – Vancouver Community Baseball
Vancouver Community Baseball is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach for our 13U Peewee AAA team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, assess, and develop talented 13U players within our association. The Peewee AAA division is highly competitive, with many players progressing to Bantam AA & AAA programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, coach, and mentor 13U athletes, helping them develop their skills both on and off the field.
- Participate in our robust Fall program and contribute to our comprehensive indoor winter training and development sessions.
- Collaborate with UBC Baseball staff for player assessments and training.
- Be prepared to travel across Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and the BC interior for 5-6 weekends throughout the season.
- Help coordinate and actively engage in off-season training and development.
What We Offer: Vancouver Community Baseball provides strong support and resources, including access to an established Fall program and a fully equipped indoor training facility during the winter. The head coach position is paid, and compensation will be negotiated with VCB based on experience and qualifications.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- NCCP Qualified as a Provincially Certified 16+.
- Pass a (CRC) criminal record check.
- References from players, coaches, or previous associations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- History of coaching and/or playing high caliber baseball.
- Ability to communicate well with kids, parents, and game officials.
- Ability to work within a budget set by the VCB Board.
